NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC TENDER No. 504/2-0002-CPU25 FOR THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF THE PARTICIPATION OF ENERGÍA ARGENTINA S.A. ("EA") IN COMPAÑÍA INVERSORA EN TRANSMISIÓN ELÉCTRICA CITELEC S.A. ("CITELEC")
The Undersecretary of Electric Energy of the Nation launched the call for National and International Public Bidding for the sale of the shares of Compañía Inversora en Transmisión Eléctrica S.A. (CITELEC).
Citelec S.A. is the controlling company of Transener S.A., the latter is the main electric power transmission company in Argentina. Through its networks, it transports 86% of the country's electric power.
The purpose of the bid is to transfer the shareholding of Energía Argentina S.A., which represents 50% of the total capital stock of CITELEC S.A. This call for bids is part of the sector organization and transformation of Argentina's energy configuration.
