The mission of the Economic and Commercial Section of the Consulate General of Argentina in Houston is to foster and promote economic and commercial relations between Argentina and the States of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

It seeks to achieve this in different ways:

- by promoting Argentina's interests in meetings, fairs and publications.

- by issuing reports, studies and analysis of the markets covered.

- by organizing and assisting business missions, both for Argentine exporters in the U.S. and for U.S. importers and investors in Argentina.

In turn, the commercial section deals with legalizations and validations of commercial documents (invoices, certificates of origin, etc.) used in international procedures before the Argentine Customs Office.
